HTC Evo 4G will be available starting June 4 for $199.99

On Wednesday evening, Sprint CEO Dan Hesse revealed that the much-anticipated HTC Evo 4G will be available starting June 4 for $199.99 with a two-year contract. The phone will require a Everything Data Plan, which starts at $69.99 per month, and Wi-Max will cost an additional $10 per month.
The special event was hosted in New York, and it was mostly a rehash of the information we learned at CTIA 2010--8-megapixel camera, HDMI port, Android 2.1, 1GHz Snapdragon processor. However, Sprint did reveal that the Android superphone will allow for simultaneous voice and data and will be the first smartphone to ship with a YouTube HQ player and a video chat app from Qik.
The Evo 4G will also be able to be used as a mobile WiFi hotspot and connect up to eight devices, but it will come at a price: $29.99 per month. More details to come.
