Broadway shows this summer in New York

Broadway Ticket Availability

Those "American Idol" finalists keep coming to Broadway. Tamyra Gray, from the television show's first season, is getting ready for her second gig there. She made her Broadway debut in "Bombay Dreams," the big Bollywood musical, several years back.

Now Gray will join the cast of "Rent," portraying Mimi in the long-running Jonathan Larson musical about struggling artists on the Lower East Side (before it became gentrified). She begins performances May 29 at the Nederlander Theatre.

And several original cast members will be re-upping for another go with the show in midsummer. Adam Pascal, who portrayed Roger, and Anthony Rapp, who was Mark, return to the musical July 30 for a six-week run ending Sept. 9.
