Getting to those Springsteen shows just got a bit easier…
Trains will operate between Hoboken Terminal, Secaucus Junction and Meadowlands Sports Complex stations approximately every 10 to 20 minutes beginning 3 1/2 hours before and up to two hours after events.
NJ Transit will announce daily service schedules at a later date.
For events with fewer than 50,000 fans in attendance, NJ Transit will continue to operate the shuttle bus service between Secaucus Junction and Giants Stadium. [NJ.com]

The new rail service between New York City and The Meadowlands doesn’t officially open to the public until Sunday, July 26, but NJ Governor Jon Corzine is giving it a test run today. (Truth be told, when I took the train and bus to that Springsteen show back in May, I was surprised at how easy it was to get to Izod Center from New York. The trip via rail and express coach bus was only about 40 minutes from Penn Station.)
In other NJ related news, Bruce Springsteen recently announced 25 new US tour dates (including 2 nights at MSG). Updated Springsteen tour schedule after the jump.
“Meadowlands Rail Link Coming Soon” continued after the jump
